9.7.18: Quite day. At 1am a small enemy patrol outside our wire was dispersed. Six patrols were out, two of which were by daylight. Enemy was encountered on two occasions.

12.7.18: A very quite day. Eight patrols were out by night and one by day. Enemy was encountered on these occasions.
