  • 703 Pte Joseph Edge a bricklayer from Market Street who enlisted in June 1908.
  • 1409 Pte George Smart a miner from Clay Cross and Pre-War Territorial in “G” Company. Retuned to England pending discharge due to Termination of Engagement.
  • 2185 Pte George Batteson a miner from Tibshelf who enlisted in April 1914. Wounded on the 20th July 1916 and returned to ENgland and discharged.
