 Arrived in France in February 1915 and disembodied in January 1919

1914-15 Trio awarded to John Oldbury

Attested in June 1913 and an original member of “E” (Wirksworth and Matlock) CompanyArrived in France with the 46th North Midland Division in February 1915

Suffered a broken clavicle and returned to England in May 1916. Posted to Command Depot at Ballyvonare before transferring to the Royal Engineers (Railways). 

Returned to France in May 1917 and was finally discharged in April 1919
