On this day 6th December 1918: Decorations awarded

The following decorations were awarded by C in C for gallantry and devotion to duty during the operations in front of PRISCHES on 4/11/18

Military Medal:-

Both Percy Johncock and Fred Jennings had served with the 1/7th Battalion and transferred to the 1/6th Battalion on the disbandment of the Robin Hoods.

On these days 5th-6th November 1918: following up the enemy

5/11/18 CATILLON: Battn moved in early morning (03.00 hrs) to N outskirts of LA GROISE and later passing through the LINCOLN and LEICESTER Brigade followed up the enemy to the outskirts of PRISCHES.

This village being held in strength by MG rearguards it was decided to stay during night 5/6th in sites reached.

Casualties: 1 OR killed, 1 OR missing, 12 OR wounded.


6/11/18: The enemy having retired during the night, the Battalion entered PRISCHES amidst the great excitement and enthusiasm of the civilian inhabitants. Battn billeted in PRISCHES.
