Norman Hampden Grey Lawless (WO339/12618) was born 1891 in Norwich. Served with the 1/6th Sherwood Foresters from January to June 1918. Later served in the League of Nations.

14/1/18: Artillery quiet. TM’s active on right Battalion front. Our snipers killed a German who appeared to be a reconnoitring Officer. Advanced parties of 34th Infantry Brigade were attached to Bde and Battalion HQ’s pending relief.
