William (Willie) Gough was a labourer from Dove Holes and a Pre-War Territorial who served with "B" Company. He arrived in France in February 1915 and was badly gassed in August 1917. He transferred to the Machine Gun Corps and was disembodied in March 1919.
9.7.1917 FREVILLERS: 2/Lieut HW HIGHAM proceeded to join FRC as Observer on probation.
