This is my Gt Grandfather Archibald Joseph Bristow, he was a very upstanding gentleman , I have confirmation that after WW1 he worked at Chartwell for Winston Churchill as a gardener or head gardener ,this information came from a email from someone researching Chartwell inventories ( wages and workers ) ,during WW2 he was a special constable serving in the Kent Police at West Malling Kent .
