Can you tell me if Sgt MJ Unwin MM was later awarded the DCM as I have his Medal Bar, Miniature Medals and a photograph of him in his later WO2 best uniform which have the DCM present. I do not however have any confirmation of this award being made or promulgated and do not have a DCM medal with his others. Thank you for any help you may be able to give.

Hello Charles
To be honest I can’t find any record of him winning the DCM. That’s both Housley’s book and the DCM records on Ancestry – sorry
