Sept 28th. Rose about 7-30 a.m. Inspn by Gen Stuart Wortley 10-30 a.m. Packed up after dinner & set off to trenches at 3-30 p.m. Stopped near Kruisstraat had tea. Rain from about 6 p.m. onwards. Roads wretched. Relieved 5^th S.F.
