25th: Bellacourt shelled at about midday. 4 Men of the M Gun Company being killed.

139 Infantry Brigade: Headquarters War Diary [WO95/2692]

25th 1pm: Enemy fired12 shells into neighbourhood of HQ billet. 1 shell exploded in billet and destroyed it. 4 men were killed. Some occasional T Mortar fire on our left sector. 5th relieved the 6th & the 7th relieved the 8th in the front line.
