Aug 11th. Still in trenches as usual. Same as yesterday but shelling was slacker. Very nice day.
Aug 12th. As usual, but very little shelling until 5 p.m. then a small duel for about ½ hour. Aeroplanes busy again. Sykes & Berresford (S) wounded. Nice day but rather misty at dawn.
