On this day 27th November 1918: Samuel Furness from Bakewell was discharged

1870/240307 Pte Samuel Furness a farm labourer from Bakewell enlisted in April 1913. Arrived in France in 1916 and served with “C” Company. Wounded on 1.7.17 at Cite St Pierre. Discharged on 27.11.18 and later awarded TFWM.

1618/307424 Pte John Howe a miner from Tideswall enlisted in March 1912. Arrived in France with the 46 NM Division in February 1915. Also served with the 2/8th Battalion.

On this day 14th November 1918 George Brocklehurst from Brampton died of wounds

3717/241185 Pte George Brocklehurst. Enlisted in January 1915 and arrived in France in 1916 and served with No 9 Platoon “C” Company. Died of wounds in 12 General Hospital in France.

On this day 14th November 1918: 46 NMD joined XIII Corps

14/11/18: Battn moved to billets in LANDRECIES. 46 Division left IX Corps and joined XIII Corps. Division not detailed to from part of Army of Occupation.
