On this day 5th November 1917
On the night of the 4th-5th of November 1917 there was raid on emeny trench with 4 Officers and 124 other ranks in 3 parties (A-C).
Capt GKK Maughan, Lt C Radford (A), Lt WL Cooper (B), 2/Lt HS Pink (C) .
1 Officer wounded, 2 OR killed, 14 OR wounded and 5 OR missing.
Lt. C Radford was wounded in the abdomen and returned to England.

New content for 1912
Finally managed to find some time to add new content. In this case its the the year 1912. Lots of good photos, mostly of the 6th, but also the 8th is well represented along with the odd 5th and 7th picture.
Included a list of men who attested in 1912, 250 or so.
On this day 1st October 1915
3366 Pte Walter Adkin died from wounds at LIJSSENTHOEK MILITARY CEMETERY.
Walter was a miner from Stavelely and enlisted in October 1914 aged 24. He arrived in France on 28th February 1915.
