   Hi

   I think the soldier holding the ram is my greatgrandfather b Stubbins 1522
   Not a hundred percent sure but I have the picture at home and he joined as a boy in 1912 aged 15
   It’s nice to read the posts and look at the site

   My grandad joined in 1914 in Buxton, went to France in Feb, John Hackney 2425, he was 16. His papers say he was born 1895 but he was born 1898.
