Sept 24th. Rose about 7-30 a.m. & had breakfast. 9-30 a.m. rifle, bayonet, clothes & boot inspn. 10-30 set off to Poperinghe for a bath, enjoyed same. Parcel from home arrived. Dull day, but fine till about p p.m. & then rain at intervals. Band in afternoon.
