Sept 12th. On guard again Same as yesterday. Aeroplanes busy again. Very nice day. In evening went to funeral of one of 5^th Battn who was killed by a sniper.

The 5th Battalion man killed by a sniper was 2226 Pte. Joseph Newbury who was buried in Chester Farm Cemetery.
