Sept 5th. C Co. in support. Rose 7-30 a.m. & took breakfast to B Co. Then slept till 11 a.m. & on fatigue 11 – 12-30, 2 – 4-30 & 6 – 7. (repairing dug outs or carrying stuff up tp front trench). 8-30 till about 11-30 fetching rations & R.E. stuff from dump & taking same to companies. Dull day but no rain. Desultory shelling all day.

Sept 6th. Had breakfast at 7 a.m. then got down again till 11 a.m. Otherwise same as yesterday. Weather improving.

Sept 7th. Same as yesterday. Nice day.
